Marvel Entertainment released the first full-length trailer and poster for its new movie, The Eternals, on Monday morning. The trailer showcases the cast, who play immortal beings with extraordinary powers, arriving at a beach in their spaceship.
Angelina Jolie stands out with her long blonde hair and gold headpiece in various striking outfits throughout the clip, while Salma Hayek’s voiceover discusses how their people have long watched over Earth but are now getting involved.
The plot revolves around these immortal beings, often mistaken for gods in human mythology, who have lived on Earth in secret for millennia but reveal themselves as they come face to face with the evil Deviants.

Chloé Zhao, an Oscar-winning director, is back with her first movie since taking home the Best Picture and Best Director awards for Nomadland earlier this year. The trailer opens with a group of people in tattered clothing gazing out over a rugged cliff with the ocean stretching below.
A wide, brown spaceship begins to lift off from the shore, leaving the locals in awe as they watch it ascend into the sky. “We have observed and guided them. We have aided their advancement and witnessed their remarkable achievements,” narrates Hayek’s character Ajak.
